Krakow Babies — 9/10
As an intro, this is beautiful.
The instrumental is genuinely stunning and makes you feel like you’re floating.
It pushes the listener into an introspective space right away.
I’ll Never Leave My Dear Home — 9/10
The light vocal delivery mixed with that hopeless undertone is so good.
It feels like heavy foreshadowing for his later projects.
This song really captures that “local band with insane passion but no growth” energy — not because they lack talent, but because they’re comfortable where they are.
It honestly reminds me of some of my friends.
Thought I Heard You Howl — 7/10
Feels like he had a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that might’ve cost him his relationship — and in the end it didn’t even matter because they broke up anyway.
I love hearing the older inspirations that Sputnik still carries into his current sound from these early EPs.
Krakow Angels — 10/10
The long guitar wails and the lyricism are incredible.
It feels like he’s saying he’s already gone from Krakow physically, but emotionally he’ll always be tied to it.
Like he’ll always care for the people who stayed behind.
The sincerity and beauty in this track are insane.
Final EP Rating — 8.8/10
I will never not get enough of Sputnik PC’s work. I love all their work and this piece just made me fall deeper into a loyalty mental with his work. I have to admit i didnt hear of him until i listened to his Weather Day project. But after that I just fell down his rabbit hole of amazing media and just became fully enamored with it. Regardless of that though, I loved this EP.
