I love the soft and uneven vocals with the very acoustic background balancing it out.
It feels beautifully and purposefully uneven.
The screams bring out so much emotion — even if barely understandable, it’s talking about genocides and the current world.
I love how it climaxes and then brings everything back down with soft talking from the beginning.
Love the 8-bit sound outro.
Starr$ Coffee Brain Fvck / Milk and Honey — 8/10
Chill and relaxing with a new high-pitched voice.
Interesting lyrics over such a pleasant beat while talking about something so morbid.
His screaming voice in the background is so important — it’s his brand and without it the song wouldn’t feel complete.
The second half basically being another song is such a fire idea.
Milk and Honey’s muffled vocals add so much atmosphere.
Hearing this after actually sitting down with the album is genuinely beautiful.
Dreaming — 9/10
Sounds majestic, like a video game intro scene.
I love the contrast between screaming and normal vocals.
He talks about drug struggles and relapsing with someone he cares for.
Tragic and genuinely beautiful in a strange way because of the beat.
All Consuming Nature of Light — 7/10
I don’t even know what bro is saying.
Had to look up the lyrics — screamo-coded as hell and very real.
At some point it’s just screaming in my ear, but it still works for the emotion.
Stardust — 6/10
The intro audio clip is beautiful.
I love the lyrics and instrumentals — this feels like a midpoint where he just lets you breathe.
I could listen to this and cry if I really wanted to.
Cute Cannibal Gf X Eaten Gutless Bf — 9/10
Love the grainy, raw acoustic intro.
The background buzzing adds so much.
Morbid lyricism with a very lackluster emotional delivery that somehow works perfectly.
Probably my second favorite on the album.
Trash Talk — 10/10
The intro is so comforting.
Talking about being shit-talked and knowing he could respond but choosing not to because he’s a coward in his own eyes, smoking away the pain.
The composition is insane — calm to angsty guitar switch is perfect.
Absolutely incredible.
Like Cyclical Nature, Our Paths Unfold — 9/10
Love the angel perspective wishing to no longer be holy.
Talking about codeine addiction in a way that somehow feels romantic and intertwined.
Calling himself worthless while remaining loyal through the dog reference.
Calm vocals over screaming backgrounds work so well.
“The further down I fall” guitar moment is weirdly calming.
Torniquet — 9/10
Feels completely futile.
He sees both calm and chaos and realizes there’s nothing he can do about it.
His humming guides you through the calm while his screams fight to be seen through the chaos.
Lily Cola Stares — 7/10
The religious symbolism throughout the album is beautiful, and this continues it.
Talking about her being born cursed to hell.
Feels like collapsed last thoughts, fixated on her and her “cola stares.”
Sonik Wve — 6/10
A reverse shitshow of chaos that becomes unenjoyable near the end — mirroring the relationship itself.
Feels like he gives up by the end.
Almost sounds like it exists to unsettle you before the final track.
An Array of Color — 9/10
A true outro.
Describing a woman with trust issues as more complex than a character (Zombieland reference).
Feels like Thai Body Dump saw himself as Wichita and Columbus throughout the album.
The beat mirrors the previous song symbolically while explaining how he felt.
Closes the album on a broken, mourning note.
Final Rating — 8.1/10
I might be bias, but I LOVED THIS ALBUM. I always have. I was listening to it when it came out and I wish I was able to listen to it when it wasn’t even a thought. I found this in a low point in my life and I never really listened to it fully until i reviewed it this time. Regardless though, this has to be apart of my top 10 albums of all time, alongside two of the songs in the album being apart of every playlist i have.
