I love the instrumentals.
I love the religious symbolism with the hard-hitting and isolating instruments.
The bit crushing on the instruments is fire.
The vocals speaking about the loss of a powerful love and its aftermath are beautiful.
Sounds like something you would — and could — only hear from Starberry.
My Memory — 9/10
I feel his soft voice within my head, talking about being held back by the words of a past lover that lingers beyond anything else.
He talks about her leaving him for someone better by saying she’s leaving him for someone he could potentially be in another lifetime.
The instruments really bring out the sorrow and despair of longing within his words.

He feels like he’s lagging behind others in life due to his lack of motivation and/or lack of potential he sees within himself.
He sees that pain and lagging as worth committing suicide over because he doesn’t see value in himself as others do, even though he still has friends.

I’ve always loved Starberry from his humble beginning on TikTok years ago near around the time he released I Have a Favorite album. He is the only artist with his sound in my opinion and he does it so well. His latest releases have been so amazing, but i really just wanted to speak on my favorite EP of his.
