The (Tai)jitu Project is a deeply personal, emotional, and immersive album. Dempsey Days blends soft vocals, raw storytelling, and reflective production to create a work that resonates on multiple levels. The album excels on tracks like Gone But Not Forgotten, For Me, The Interlude That Never Ends, and 11.16, which showcase vulnerability, lyrical depth, and strong vocal performance.
While a few songs (Thank You For Everything And Nothing More, If You Loved Me…) land less powerfully emotionally, the overall cohesion, instrumentation, and emotional honesty make Tai a compelling listen from start to finish. I won’t ever be more grateful for an album than this one for coming into my life.
